Melissa Hill

Executive Director - Pastor

Melissa has been in ministry and business leadership for over 30 years. Her passion is child advocacy. Born into fostercare herself, she was "Foster-Mom" to many children and co-founded Thunder Ranch

(a Christian-based residential fostercare facility.)

2 of her 6 grandchildren were diagnosed with Autism, making her very aware of, and sympathetic to the plight of those dealing with special needs.

Kameron Bachert

Director of Operations & Human Resources

Kameron has worked in administration and the special education field for over 19 years and was highly instrumental in opening the Early Childhood Learning Center in Casa Grande, Arizona.  After years of working with the families of Casa Grande, she understands the struggles and can help parents navigate the rough waters  of caring  for a child with special needs.

Joanna Schumacher

Training Interventionist

Hi there! My name is Joanna, and I am a training interventionist with Charli’s House. I have a BA in Psychology from Washburn University, and an MA in Special Education - Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University. I joined the Charli’s House team in June, 2020 without any formal education or training in the field of ABA. My rapidly acquired adoration for the population and the field is what brought me to further advance my education and career. In my free time, I enjoy taking my son to the park, drinking coffee, and spending time with friends and family.
